Tresco

Tresco is the second largest of the islands and is home to the well known sub-tropical Abbey Gardens which contain a huge variety of plants from around the world.

There are also white sandy beaches and long coastal walks to the two castles - King Charles’ and Cromwells.

The Island Hotel Lounge Bar and gardens overlooking St Martins are open to non residents for lunches and afternoon teas. Meals and drinks are also available in the New Inn on the Bryher side of the island. If in the Abbey Gardens snacks can be purchased at the Cafe.

Bryher

Bryher is the smallest of the inhabited islands, but one of complete contrasts. At one end there are sheltered sandy coves, at the other, on a windy day the waves crash over the rocks at Shipman’s Head and Hell Bay .

For lunch and afternoon teas you have the choice of Hell Bay Hotel, Fraggle Rock or Vine Cafe
